Project full title: Regional Business Development Through the Use of Information and Communication Technologies


The project addresses present weaknesses in the cross border area by focusing on the fields of business development, cooperation and employment, as diagnosed in the stategy of the present Programme. It thus seeks to support the employment rate, the integration of the economies, to narrow the lack of employee specialization or the lack o highly specialized human resources through the use of ICT.

The project targets ICT structures to promote entrepreneurship between the two regions in order to facilitate enterprises, establish business networks, have access to personnel and training etc.

Moreover the project aims at supporting business development, promoting business cooperation by establishing a broader cross-border cooperation framework, empowering employment through training, enabling labour motivation and promoting the transfer of know-how.


In accordance to the objectives of the project, the main expected output is the development of four ICT platforms along with the development of a database for the purposes of training the business public:

  • e-Business Networking platform,
  • e-Recruitment Platform,
  • e-Ombudsman,
  • e-Learning platform.


The project’s activities also include the organisation of business seminars and training programs and the organization of information days, a conference and two business excellence ceremonies at the end of each year.
